One person cited for seat belt violation in rollover crash near Mitchell
An Ethan man was cited for not wearing a seat belt following a one-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday southwest of Mitchell.
At approximately 11:20 a.m., 35-year-old Daniel Byler, of Ethan, lost control of the vehicle he was driving, a 2001 Ford Ranger, on icy roads and rolled into a ditch near 409th Avenue, north of 257th Street, according to Davison County Deputy Steve Harr.
Byler and a male passenger were uninjured. Byler was cited for not wearing his seat belt. The male passenger's name is not being released.
Davison County Sheriff's Office was the responding agency.
