Plankinton man pleads guilty to attempted rape
PLANKINTON — A Plankinton man pled guilty on Wednesday to attempted first-degree rape.
Robert Will, 35, pled guilty to the Class 2 felony, according to a press release from the Attorney General's Office.
If convicted, Will faces a maximum sentence of 25 years imprisonment and a $50,000 fine.
Will also pled guilty to one count of sexual contact with a child younger than 16, which is a Class 3 felony, punishable upon conviction by up to 15 years imprisonment and a $30,000 fine.
A sentencing date has been set for late November.
The case was investigated by the Aurora County Sheriff's Office.
