You can’t miss the Winter Triangle. Face south around 7:30-8 p.m. the next clear night and look up. Three bright stars — Sirius, Procyon and Betelgeuse — outline the figure. Much like the Summer Triangle of summertime and fall, the Milky Way cuts directly across the triangle. You can see it in the photo as a thicker band of stars. (Bob King / Forum News Service)
