ST. PAUL — We have emerged from a blizzard-y Saturday with a snowfall record for the month — and it ain't over yet. "We're only halfway through the month, and it's already the snowiest April on record for the Twin Cities!" the National Weather Service announced on Sunday morning, April 15. "We beat April of 1983's record of 21.8 by 0.7 yesterday and it's still snowing!" The epic weather event that began Friday night had slowed somewhat on Sunday after what the weather service described as a "historic" snowstorm Saturday, but the snow kept coming down.
